HIKING

Monday afternoon,we went hiking with Hans to Hocking Hills State Park.It took us one hour to get there.Taking a nap in the van,I felt excited about the hiking. We walked smoothly on the road at the beginning of the hiking. Then we walk under some big rocks and the road became more narrow.
After that,we saw a little waterfall between the rocks, some people jumped into the water and it looks fun.
Roads became wet and risky, but we were excited about that.We pulled each other, told jokes and encouraged each other, finally we almost cross a mountain and get back.

The best thing I can say from hiking is that we can be closed to nature,we breathe fresh air, touch soft land, drink pure water. Also,we can feel the power of teamwork,I cannot go that far without my team.

  1. hi james...thanks for writing about your hiking trip. i love see the photos and reading the way you describe it. touching soft land and breathing fresh air is great. let me ask though, did you really drink water there? i am sure it was cold and refreshing but many people say we should not drink that water. haha!

  2. Beautiful pictures James. I took the group there last year and really enjoyed the cool cover of the trees and rocks as we hiked together along the trails. I heard it was quite muddy there from the rains but I'm glad you all still enjoyed it.

  3. How beautiful those pictures are! It really make your soul peaceful, doesn't it? I really appreciate your thoughts of the hiking trip. I think what really matters is not how beautiful sceneries there are and how many amazing photos you have taken but what getting close to the nature brings you. Living in the city, there is few chances for us to get close to the nature. Tired of the noises in the city, going hiking and getting close to the nature is a good way to come near to your soul and wash away all the troubles! How I wish I could go hiking one day!

    1. I think there are some decent places to hike outside of Wuhan, but you'll have to find a couple of friends to do it with and find a good spot. Maybe Mulan Shan?
