The hiking to The old Man's Cave

The hiking to the Old Man's Cave was such a wonderful experience that I would never forget in my life. Hans drove us, James, Snow, Lan, Richard, Robert and me to the hiking area in the afternoon yesterday. It took about one hour to the hiking area which is in another county next to Franklin County in Ohio, with a lot of beautiful scenes on the way. Hans drove the van steadily and safely, although the the road was built pretty like the small version of the roller coaster. Hans was so responsible a person that he made us as comfortable as he could on the trip.

Everyone was excited to do the hiking, and I love it so much. There was a lot of fun hiking in the countryside, breathing in fresh air, touching the stones, the trees and the falls. It's not just about exercising, but also about getting back to the nature. There are so few chances nowadays for us to appreciate the beauty of the nature in such a busy world. There is so many wonders in the wild expecting us to explore someday.
And it's also a trip to enjoy group stuff. We helped each other to go through all the journey without leaving anybody behind. We did a great teamwork while we were climmbing the mountain!!! Although we maybe seemed like a group of fugees and I was so exhousted that my body machine almost broke down, we have a unforgettable afternoon together. Then, the Chinese food was exactly what I wanted to fill up my stomach.

  1. Awesome post Henry! The road is quite hilly down there and I'm glad Hans was a safe and responsible driver. That means you enjoyed it.

I led this trip last year and was said I didn't have the time to do it this year. Hocking Hills is a great little gift of Ohio and we're all glad you enjoyed it.

    1. Thanks, Eric. I thinkk this is just a start for us to learn to get to close to the nature. I'll keep that kind of spirit wherever I go.
