I'm a Wuhan girl, but not that typical. Because I can't speak Wuhan Hua and I'm not that outgoing and that gregarious. I love music and food. I think food is something to make your stomach happy and music is the very thing to feed your soul. Besides, I enjoy watching movies and TV serials in my spare time. Recently, I'm watching Japanese dramas about detective. The way they think of a case really impresses me and the stories that happen during the process of finding evidences make me completely absorbed. I'm also a big fan of Game of Thrones. If you are also crazy about it, just come to chat with me. I will be really glad to make friends with you😝😝
I love dogs very much. And I keep two as pets. Don't you think they are cute!!! The white one is Yangyang and the black one is Caicai. They love food as much as I do. I have to say they always fight which other for meat. So if you come to visit me, don't just bring one sausage, instead, you should bring two for them both!
And now , I'd like to talk about my major. I major in Geographical Condition Monitoring. It belongs to Remote Sensing and it's a new major not only in Wuhan University but also in China. It was because that it was set up in 2012 that many people have no idea about it. It was fun that once my friend asked me if Remote Sensing is a major about producing things like remote controls. But I want to say it really has nothing to do with remote controls. It is related to GPS, GIS and something like that. I really love my major and enjoy learning things about it. I think remote sensing is an important tool for us to gain information about the world and to monitor the geographical condition of a country. I hope one day I can be a leading scientist in this field and devote myself to the construction of my motherland. I have heard that OSU had achieved a lot in the field of remote sensing so I hope I can learn something about it here.
It is a great honor for me to participate in this program. It's the second day we spend together. I have made a lot of friends who are quite different in hobbies and characters. But we have great fun talking with each other and having class together. Mike, Pete, Susie and Bob and all other teachers are kind and lovely. Before I come to Ohio, I am really shy and afraid to speak to foreigners. But with your encouragement, I am more brave and I am willing to communicate with Americans though my oral English is not excellent. I am looking forward to learning more in the following days with your company. I am sure that we will all become good friends and this experience will be impressive and unforgettable. 😃
