As you know, OSU is a amazing campus. We enjoy our days there.
On the second day we arrived here, we were given the job to do some survey along the high street or just in the campus. And when we were walking around the oval just outside the student union, we saw a aquirrel concentrating on eating its food. It's the first time we saw a little animal just in the campus. We have never seen such cute animals in Chinese campus and it impressed us most!
It is really amazing to see so many animals living happily on campus. How wonderful it is to have all these lovely little living things as company! It make me think of the importance of harmony between human beings and all other creatures on the earth. Seeing this squirrel eating happily, I am eager to take actions to protect our environment!
ReplyDeleteI love this post - thanks for sharing. It is true you do not see many animals inside of Wuhan, though I've seen some snakes and bugs and things.
ReplyDeleteSince I've returned to the US from China I've maintained that North Americans live in the world's biggest nature park. I'm always happy/surprised to see birds, squirrels, rabbits, and other animals living in my back yard and neighborhood without a care. Though I'm mad at my neighbor squirrels for eating all of the vegetables I grew last summer I'm glad they are around.
