Time goes really fast and two weeks seems like two days ago .I can still remember the very first day when I got off the plane and saw big Mike and Pete greeted us with a warm welcome .
However, now we are hundreds of miles away from Columbus .We have been to Washington D. C. , Philadelphia and now we are in New Jersey. In Washington D .C . We saw the Washington Monument and many other memorials as well as museums. The monument is really tall and I wonder how much effort it took to build it. Whereas, what touches me most is the Korea memorial. Before the visit,I almost knew nothing about the Korea war, what I knew is that China won the fight. But not until yesterday did I know that the soldiers suffered much more than we could imagine. They were fighting in the front without knowing the real goal of the war. The nineteen sculptures were all wearing aimless faces, fighting for the uncertain future. Maybe the Chinese government and American government had two different opinions about this war,but to soldiers, war means death and killing, war means pain and sorrow.
We all hope to live in a peaceful world without fightings. We are all looking foreword to a world without wars. We hope the world to be international as well as multicultural. Though little conflicts are unavoidable, great efforts should be made to remain the peaceful world.
