Why?I think the most important reason is that quality of American is better than Chinese. In USA,even if there isn't traffic light,cars in face of people，the people through comity.When two cars meet in the crossroad,the car which go straight will continue,the other car will stop.This is the is a matter of convention.But in China,we lack of these conventions.Our quality need to improve.And I think the other reason is that driver can't be friendly to other driver.When two cars meet in the crossroad in USA,the drivers will keep eye contact or wave their hands.Drivers are friendly.But we can't.We are not friendly to other driver when our car meet other cars in China.We usually hope our car can pass the crossroad as soon as possible.And even break the rule to achieve our goal.
I think the arrival of USA is valuable experiences.Our driver's quality will improve ,I believe it.
I can't agree with you any more.In China, drivers appears rudely to pedestrians and other drivers.But in America,Drivers appear friendly to others.We really need to improve our quality of drivers.Maybe education on drivers and pedestrians will work but I really don't know about that.It' a good question that worth thinking.
ReplyDeleteGood observations you two - I think it's more down to the idea of limited/scare resources. In the US we have less people so we naturally have more space. In China you are always competing for a house, a place on the sidewalk, and a position on the road. If resources are limited you often see people do whatever they can to use the resources. Driving is still new to a lot of people in China so there is a lack of experience. Perhaps with more time people will follow traffic rules more and also adhere to the unwritten rules of the road.
